PATRICK H. HALPIN
Mr. Halpin most recently served as Vice President of Finance at Silver Hill where his responsibilities included acquisition evaluation, diligence and execution; strategic capital planning; business development; and management of various financial and banking relationships. Mr. Halpin also played key roles in the conceptualization and formation of Silver Hill’s subsidiaries and related ventures including Silver Hill Midstream, Sopris Minerals and Skyland Minerals.
Following Silver Hill’s $2.5bn sale to RSP Permian, Inc. in November 2016, Mr. Halpin continued to source, evaluate, execute and manage a number of investments in private oil and gas companies, projects and assets alongside Mr. Miller and the Silver Hill team.
Prior to joining Silver Hill, Mr. Halpin was an Associate at EnCap Investments in Houston, where he assisted with the monitoring, execution and management of a number of EnCap’s upstream investments in the Mid-Continent and Texas. Prior to EnCap, he was an Analyst in the Global Natural Resources Investment Banking group at Barclays Capital in Houston, where he focused on public capital raises, corporate restructuring and M&A advisory work.
Mr. Halpin earned a bachelor's degree in Finance with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the IPAA, the ADAM Energy Forum and Young Professionals in Energy. Mr. Halpin is also active in charitable and volunteer efforts with the TouchDown Club of Dallas and Kershaw’s Challenge.
